ELF Goodies :)

As the title suggests, a lovely haul from ELF is on the cards today :)

And as usual, another skip-load of pictures, but I wanted to show you a general and quick-ish overview of the things I bought, and then review them on here as I try them out, with more in depth information and about them and possibly more pictures (but not as many as this!)

I'm so excited to try this stippling brush out!

This wasn't broken, by the way, I dug my nail into it to see how much was actually in it, and to be honest, there really wasn't much! But for £1.50 you really can't complain :)

A bit of dodgy nail colour, it's gone all white and discoloured at the bottom, but this is the only product I had a problem with in the whole haul :)

Top - Bottom: Barely Bitten, Ripe Rose, Pouty Petal

The blush, with swatch on top, and swatch with brush below

The Matte Mauve on top with Punk Funk below. The 2 outer colours in MM are so neutral they didn't show up properly :( so I left the little applicator that I used to apply the colour on my arm so you could see it.

So yeah, hope it's not too much, give me a shout if it you'd like a change :)

Florals and Other Spring Prints

I think there's something about floral prints that is so refreshing for spring ... even though in the UK the weather seems to have missed the notice to warm up :(

anyhoo, I love the latest thing from New Look in their "Garden Party" seasonal trend thingy...

So pretty :)

Birthday Haul + Swatches

Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to me!!

15th February - Yours trully turned 18 :)

I got mostly money from my parents, cause it's easier for me to buy something myself that I know I'd like, so the other day I dragged my poor mum into Boots and picked up a few things, mostly basics that I'd use everyday.

So, bring on the pictures and swatches!!

No7 Stay Perfect trio in Romantic

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer - Fair

Natural Collection Blush - Peach Melba

Natural Collection Powder - Translucent

Max Factor samples of Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation

So, that's what I bought.. I'm really interested to see how well the Pearl Drops whitening polish and Listerine ice whitening mouthwash works - does anyone else have any whitening products they use and recommend?

and I'm really trying to get a bit of OMPFF into my hair, hence the volumising shampoo from Herbal Essences :) Again - any tips on volumising?

and FINALLY here are some swatches :)

swatches from the Romantic trio, with the lightest colour above and below the other two, trying to get a decent swatch! The colours are lovely, they go on so smoothly and are pretty creamy feeling. And the brush is hilarious! How is anyone supposed to use that?!

The most gorgeous blush in the world (atm, in my opinion). The swatch on the bottom is the blush applied with a brush. It gives a much warmer flush of colour than when applied with my hands.

Blush on the left, eyeshadow on the right

Ooh, who's that stunner? ;)
Haha, my arm is covered in swatches now!

Photo below is my eye make-up for the day :)

So, haul and swatches over! You can watch the video posted on my YT when I stick the link up!

Valentine's Day

I have a love / hate relationship with this day.
The shops go really over the top with all the cards and presents and flowers, etc and with anything else, I'd be really annoyed, but to be honest, because it's VALENTINE'S DAY, I don't mind in the slightest.

Could be something to do with the fact I'm happy with the man I bagged, and said man was good enough to get me something cheesy and romantic that I'm STILL smiling over!

Anyway - Pictures!!

So yeah, give me the cheddar on Valentine's Day!

The downside is I'm sitting in my room stuffing my face with chocolates, which isn't a bad thing, it's just I know I'll eat too many and make myself feel ill :( but never mind!

How did Valentine's go for everyone else? Any nice presents? Leave a comment :)

Love for PRIMARK

Oh, how I love PRIMARK.

Seriously, I do.
The shop went a little bit cheap looking, with little selection of accessories, and the quality began to feel as cheap as the prices.

But now it's back!!

I only bought a couple of necklaces from there, because I had just booked a holiday (post on that soon :) ) but there was plenty of selection with so many bags that I wanted that it was unfair :)

These 2 items are included in a haul on my YouTube account, along with other amazing bargains from other shops which are worth checking out... *cough-GoToMyChannel-cough*

but anyway, photos!!

If there is a Primark near you, get in there NOW, it's worth it.
Even if you have to travel, it's still worth it!

Be careful what you buy though, it's not as cheap as it used to be, for example, a jumper with poofy sleeves was £8, but you can get something similar and of better quality in New Look.

So be careful, but there are some real bargains in there if you can be bothered to look :)
